Ready for a Crab Boil?
A crab boil (also know as a "crab feast")is typically an event shared with a small group of friends. These events are very popular in Maryland, as well as in other states along the eastern seaboard. Ironically, the crustaceans are often prepared by steaming v. boiling. They are dumped onto a table covered with newspaper and each guest is given a mallet for cracking and picking.
These events often are additionally used for fundraisers or social gatherings (clubs, organizations, churches, etc.). The secret to a great boil is the seasoning. Add Old Bay to the crabs for a lively kick! Your guests will love it!
